Hello! Welcome to my info page. My online/artist name is Almiraswolf, but my real name is Sam. I have been drawing and making things since about the age of 3, I am now in my 20's and am still striving the improve my work. I enjoy creating digital artwork on a computer but I also paint and sketch traditional medial too; my favourite things to draw are dragons/mythical creatures, anime critters, animals and kawaii (Japanese for "cute") styled art. Another hobby of mine is sewing, I love to create soft toys and costumes, I make all my own patterns and everything is hand sewn, I dont use a sewing machine! This takes much longer but it makes my items unique and a little but more special :)

As well as artwork, sewing and sculpting - I also enjoy collecting video game merchandise (figures, toys, DVDs etc) as well as Pocket Monsters (Pokemon) items from Japan, I am also a member of the pkmncollectors community at LiveJournal; which is also another source for buying Pokemon goods as well as gathering information about items and events. Plush toys are also a huge part of my collecting hobby (Ive been collecting plush pretty much since I was born!). As well as these things, I am also into dinosaurs and fossils, anime, travelling, crystals, mythology, technology, hats and all things kawaii. My favourite video games are: Legacy of Kain, Spyro the Dragon, Medievil, Bloody Roar, Klonoa, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Digimon, Bust a move, Pokemon, Peggle, NiGHTS journey of dreams, Bioshock, Bayonetta.


The little white creature you see on the banner above is my website's mascot: Almiraswolf. She has changed in appearance many times over the years and has currently taken on a cute / kawaii look as I feel this reflects my favourite type of artwork. Almiraswolf is, as her name suggests; a small white wolf!
